The Virginia Maritime Association is proud to be a platinum sponsor of the 2020 State of the Port and thanks Hampton Roads Global Commerce Council for collaborating on this video to present during the address.
During the address, David White, executive vice president of the VMA, stated,

"On February 13, 1920, leaders of 56 businesses established the Virginia Maritime Association to promote, protect, and encourage trade through Virginia’s ports. Since then, the VMA has grown to be a statewide organization with members in every corner
of our commonwealth and from a diversity of businesses with a stake in our port.
