VMA Event Descriptions

Annual Business Meetings		Traditionally held in early December, the Annual Business Meeting features the Annual Report of the Association, Goals for the Year, and Election of Officers and Directors. Sponsorship information will be released closer to the event.
Chapter Meetings		VMA has 5 statewide regional chapters; Central Chapter, Northern Chapter, Southern Chapter, Southwest Chapter, and Valley Logistics Chapter. Meetings are held multiple times throughout the year in each region. VMA members may attend any and all chapter meetings. Learn more.
VMA's International Trade Symposium		VMA’s International Trade Symposium is the East Coast’s premier conference addressing the topics most affecting port operations and cargo logistics, drawing-in attendees from around the globe. Programming includes breakout sessions, multiple keynote speakers, multiple panels and a series of networking events including the Maritime Mixer, Annual Banquet, and Golf Outing. Lunch and Learns		Join us for lunch (or sometimes breakfast) and educate yourself and your company about beneficial opportunities like adding an Internship to your office or joining VMA's Multiple Employer 401K plan. These sessions may include a guest speaker, panelists, or be formatted as a workshop.
Maritime Mixer		VMA hosts Maritime Mixers around the state (in-person and virtual), allowing professionals to make new connections or build on current ones while celebrating our industry, our port, and good old-fashioned camaraderie! View opportunities
Membership Briefing		Subject experts speak in an open forum to advise members on current maritime supply chain issues. Sponsorship information will be released closer to the event.

Webinars		VMA webinars address the topics of greatest interest to the port and supply chain industries.

Anchor Level Sponsorship & Complimentary Registrations

Those at the Silver Anchor Level or higher will have at least one event sponsorship included, plus a specific number of complimentary registrations to be used at qualifying events throughout the year.
