Short Biography of Steven L. Rubin

Steven L. Rubin (Steve) joined the “K” Line family of companies in November 1991 in Murray Hill, NJ as Manager of Planning for the Rail-Bridge Corp, the intermodal subsidiary of “K” Line.  After promotion to General Manager of Logistics for “K” Line America, Rubin moved to the Los Angeles area in 1995 to assume oversight of vessel and equipment operations for “K” Line in California.  When “K” Line America transferred its corporate headquarters to Richmond, VA in 1997, Rubin was promoted to Assistant Vice President of National Operations, domiciled there.  From 1999 to 2005, he was Vice President of Liner Operations, overseeing “K” Line’s corporate operating departments.  As of January 1^st, Steve was promoted to Group Vice President Operations.

Prior to “K” Line, he worked for KPMG as a Certified Public Accountant in New York City.  He has a B.A. History from the University of Pennsylvania and a B.S. Economics from the Wharton School of Business.  In 1991 Rubin obtained a Masters in Business Administration from New York University.  Steve is married and has three daughters ages 7, 5 and 4.
