Jack Gross is vice president and general manager of International for Schneider Logistics, an international lead logistics provider. In the role, he is responsible for Schneider Logistics business outside of North America, including Schneider’s European business and Asian expansion. Gross will also lead the development of Schneider’s Import Logistics offering.
Previously, Gross served as vice president of business development for Schneider Logistics and was accountable for leading all sales activities and building the company’s brokerage services offering.
With more than 20 years of logistics and leadership experience in the transportation and logistics industry, Gross joined Schneider Logistics from The Axis Group, a finished logistics organization with operations in North America, Europe, South America and South Africa, where he was president and CEO.
Prior to his work at The Axis Group, Gross was vice president and general manager of automotive at Customized Transportation Inc. (CTI). In this role, he was responsible for sales in the automotive sector and for all international automotive operations. He successfully launched CTI in Germany, the United Kingdom, Brazil and Argentina and during this time, the company was able to generate $60 million in revenue, with margins exceeding those of domestic operations.
In 1989, Gross began Logistics Insight Corporation (LINC), one of the first third-party logistics carriers (3PLs) serving the automotive industry. Under his leadership, LINC quickly rose to become one of the top 40 3PLs in North America.
Gross received his master’s and bachelor’s degrees from Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio. He is also a member of the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP).
