Chris Easter joined American Port Services (a Schneider National Company) in 2005 bringing over 18 years of transportation and global logistics experience.  In his role, Easter helps drives the development, growth and execution of American Port Services business strategies.

Prior to joining APS, Easter served as the Regional Manager of Import Logistics for Wal-Mart Stores, Inc.  In this position, he had operating responsibility for all Wal-Mart and Sam’s Clubs Import Logistics Operations throughout the United States.  During Easter’s 13-year tenure at Wal-Mart, he served in numerous increasing roles of responsibility over Distribution Centers and other Logistics Operations.

Prior to joining Wal-Mart, he served in the United States Army as a Transportation Officer including a tour in Saudi Arabia during Operation Desert Storm.
