Clark E. Brown was appointed President of Bridge Terminal Transport, Inc. in September 1999. BTT provides intermodal drayage to the maritime and rail industry. BTT utilizes approximately 2,500 owner-operators serving every major port and most rail hubs.

Mr. Brown joined the company in 1988 to be responsible for trucking companies owned by Maersk Inc. He served as Executive Vice President from 1993. He was responsible for agency activity, Intermodal, and from 1994 to 1997, headed up the local organizations in Maersk Latin America Ltd. He assumed responsibility for the International Logistics unit of Maersk Inc. as President of Mercantile Logistics in 1997. He served on various boards including equipment leasing, data services and logistics activities in addition to the various country boards in Latin America.

Mr. Brown is a native of West Virginia. He received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Virginia, Charlottesville, VA, in 1969. He completed the Executive Program at the University of Michigan.

He currently serves on the Board of Directors for Bridge Terminal Transport, Inc. and Hudd Distribution Inc.  He is a member of the National Freight Transportation Association and the Intermodal Association of North America.

Mr. Brown is married and has two children.
